Aircraft companies are increasing their flights to Gazipaşa- Alanya airport as the effect of the pandemic diminishes. Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport welcomed the first flight of Avion Express from Lithuania’s capital, Vilnius, with a ceremony.
Operated by TAV Airports, Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport welcomed the Avion Express flight from Vilnius with a water arch. With the flight with Airbus 320, 123 passengers arrived in Gazipaşa-Alanya at 18:20 on the 27th of June.
Avion Express, which makes its first flight to Gazipaşa-Alanya, will organize a total of 35 reciprocal flights on this route, three times a week during the summer season.
TAV Gazipaşa General Manager Ekrem Akgül said, “We are delighted to welcome Avion Express Airlines’ first flight from Vilnius. We strive to provide our passengers with a safe and comfortable travel experience. With the gradual lifting of flight restrictions between countries, our international traffic began to increase rapidly. We hope that the flights will continue to increase throughout the summer season.”
According to the plans of the airlines in 2021, as of today, 12 airlines are expected to organize flights to 15 destinations in 10 countries to Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport.
